What is the purpose of this site? 
This site will be activated in the event of a crisis* at, or having an impact on, any Allstate facility. Once activated, this site will provide timely, pertinent information to Allstate employees, Exclusive Agents, Exclusive Financial Specialists, Contingent Workers, Non-Proprietary Distribution Partners and family members.
Are there other crisis communication vehicles that can be accessed during a major critical incident?
Yes. Allstate employees and family members can also access the Allstate Crisis Communication Line at 1.866.492.1777. This line will contain the same information as posted on this website, as well as gather additional information (e.g. employee whereabouts, medical status, etc.) should it become necessary to do so.
* A crisis is defined as any event generally characterized by one or more of the following:
-- Potential or actual harm to individuals or property, including computer networks;
-- Imminent threat to "business as usual;"
-- Company or brand reputation; and/or
-- Immediate or potential significant media attention
